Szymon Telecki
He graduated from the Fryderyk Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw the violin class of Professor Tadeusz Gadzina. In 2020, he obtained the title of Doctor of Arts at the Chopin University of Music. He has participated in many violin courses conducted by Professor Wanda Wiłkomirska, Professor Tadeusz Gadzina, Professor Tomasz Tomaszewski, and others. He received scholarship from J&S Pro Bono Poloniae Foundation in Warsaw and for many years held scholarship from the Cultural Initiatives Foundation in Radomsko.
He has been a laureate of a number of international chamber music competitions in which he has participated together with pianist Paweł Pawlik. He performed recitals in many European countries (for example, Italy, Germany, Hungary, Belgium, Poland). He performed as a soloist with the following orchestras: O. Kolberg Świętokrzyska Philharmonic Orchestra in Kielce, W. Lutosławski Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra in Łomża, Capella Bydgostiensis Chamber Orchestra in Bydgoszcz, W. Lutosławski Płock Symphonic Orchestra, Musica Sonora Symphonic Orchestra in Budapest,
B. Huberman Philharmonic Orchestra in Częstochowa.
The artist’s activity is focused on promoting the 20th century Polish music both in Poland and abroad. Not only is the artistactive as a performer, he is also the initiator and organiser of many artistic events. In recent years, his interests have been revolving around the output of Tadeusz Paciorkiewicz. He works on permanent basis with pianist Paweł Pawlik, co-creating a violin and piano duo. In 2016, he recorded the Violin Concerto and, together with Tadeusz Gadzina, the Concerto for Two Violins by Tadeusz Paciorkiewicz, produced by the DUX record label, with the accompaniment of the Symphony Orchestra of the Częstochowa Philharmonic conducted by Adam Klocek.
In the 2017/2018 academic year, as part of the Erasmus+ programme and doctoral internships, he was an assistant in the violin class of. Prof. Yuri Nasushkin (Ukarain) at the Conservatorio Superior de Musica Eduardo Martinez Torner in Oviedo, Spain.
Since 2008, he has been collaborating with pianist Paweł Pawlik creating a violin–piano duo.
