Born in 1933 in Przystałowice Małe, died on August 23, 2013. Musician, folk violinist from the Radomszczyzna region, near Przysucha. He studied with his brothers Piotr (violinist) and Władysław (harmonist) and local musicians. At the age of 16 he started to play as a drummer at parties and weddings in the area of Potworów, Sady and Nieznamierowice. From the 1990s, when he resigned from the church function in the parish in Sady, he returned to the violin playing. He became a very famous musician playing at weddings, family celebrations and outdoor events in the Radom region. He educated many young followers, musicians playing the violin, bass and drum, who support the existence of old folk melodies, playing them in many places in Poland and also abroad. He has been very often invited by the „Dom Tańca” Association from Warsaw and the „Raft” Association from Olsztyn to play at dances and concerts. Participant of folk music reviews and festivals. Multiple laureate of the Festival of Folk Bands and Singers in Kazimierz Dolny. Laureate of the Oskar Kolberg Award. He collaborated with the vocal ensemble „Zakukała kukułecka” from Gałki Rusinowskie, he played with the harmonist Marian Pełka from Kłudno and his cousin Stefan Gaca, a drummer. In 2013 he received the Annual Award of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage for the whole achievements.
