Paweł Pawlik
He graduated from the Fryderyk Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw (2005) in the piano class of Prof. Anna Jastrzębska-Quinn. In 2020, he received a PhD in arts at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music. He prepared his doctoral dissertation under the supervision of Prof. Elżbieta Karaś-Krasztel. In 2007-2009, he was a participant of an artistic internship at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw in the piano chamber class of Prof. Katarzyna Jankowska-Borzykowska. Since 2008, he has been working as a pianist at the Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, as a senior lecturer.
He has been a laureate of numerous international chamber music competitions, including in Italy, Malta. The artist has performed solo and chamber recitals in Europe, including Italy, Germany, Hungary, Belgium, France or Spain. He has performed as a soloist with the accompaniment of Symphony Orchestra of the Oskar Kolberg Świętokrzyska Philharmonic in Kielce, the Capella Bydgostiensis Chamber Orchestra, the Witold Lutosławski Płock Symphony Orchestra, the Musica Sonora Symphony Orchestra in Budapest, the Toruń Symphony Orchestra, the Witold Lutosławski Chamber Philharmonic in Łomża. He has worked with the following conductors: Jan Miłosz Zarzycek, Marzena Diakun, Jakub Chrenowicz, Peter Illenyi, Jerzy Wołosiuk.
The pianist is an active chamber musician, living numerus concerts; since 2008 he has been partnering with violinist Szymon Telecki. In 2020, Paweł Pawlik released
a CD Juliusz Wertheim. Works for Piano Solo. Sonata for Piano and Violin (DUX); he recorded selected piano solo pieces by Juliusz Wertheim and Sonata for Piano and Violin, Op. 18.
