Anna Ignatowicz-Glińska
Is a Warsaw composer, for many years associated with the Polish Composers’ Union and the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music (PhD, assistant professor at the Faculty of Conducting and Choral Vocal Studies, Music Education and Rhythmics). A graduate of the composition class
of prof. W. Kotoński and piano improvisation by prof. d.h.c. Sz. Esztenyi.
She has written over 100 compositions for various instrumental and vocal line-ups, including percussion pieces. She has served as composer-in-residence several times at important percussion competitions and festivals, including at the International Katarzyna Myćka Marimba Academy (IKMMA, 2019). Her works are presented at concerts and festivals in Poland
and abroad, and are published in print and recorded.
