Composer, sound artist. Born on August 18, 1967 in Biskupiec. In his work, Kordaczuk willingly combines acoustic and electroacoustic performance apparatus. In particular, creating sound „live” seems to remain closest to the center of his compositional preferences in this aspect. He himself often participates in the performance of his works, either as a conductor or as a performer of, for example, the monoctone<\/em> part – the original electroacoustic instrument of which he is the designer. A very important piece in this context is Strumenti della Passione<\/em> for an ensemble of early instruments, soloists, percussion and electronics – a kind of contemporary passion commissioned by the Arte dei Suonatori baroque orchestra (Composer’s Commission of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage).<\/p>

He is undoubtedly one of the most dynamically active Polish composers in the domain of works for children. Author of a large number of compositions introducing children to the world of contemporary music, many of which were commissioned by the Children’s Art Center in Pozna\u0144. For the work Rumpelstiltskin<\/em> to the fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm, the composer received the 1st prize at the International R. Murray Schafer Composition Competition. Creator of a number of interactive works. A performative project based on sensors entitled Which way to the sound<\/em>, commissioned by the Children’s Art Center in Pozna\u0144, has already had nearly 100 performances throughout the country and abroad. Two projects commissioned by the Gorz\u00f3w Philharmonic also deserve attention: Book of mess<\/em> (children) and Book of emotions<\/em> (youth) as well as Generator X<\/em> and Generator Y<\/em> commissioned by the Philharmonic in Szczecin. Kordaczuk is the author of the world-unique Piano Concerto for Children<\/em> and the opera Gwiezdnik<\/em>, which deals with the difficult for children topic of the passing away of loved ones.<\/p>

In 2020, he received a scholarship from the Minister of Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, the Chromatofon<\/em> project – color and sound workshops based on a prototype instrument that converts RGB colors into MIDI signals. In 2021, as part of the Touching the Sound<\/em> project, he developed a system of vibrating objects in which sound is triggered and \u201eheard\u201d by touch. This makes it possible for deaf people to perform a series of 3 works by Kordaczuk under the same title.<\/p>
