Composer and pianist. He studied at the Academy of Music in Warsaw (1987-92, piano, prof. Regina Smendzianka and prof. Jerzy Romaniuk; 2006-2008, postgraduate studies in composition, prof. Marian Borkowski) and at the I. J. Paderewski in Pozna\u0144 (1998-2003, composition, prof. Jan Astriab).<\/p><p>In 2012 he obtained a doctoral degree in composition (the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw).<\/p><p>Important compositions: <em>Reminiscencja<\/em> for saxophone and piano (2002); <em>Understatements<\/em> for cello and piano (2006); <em>Piano Concerto<\/em> for left hand and symphony orchestra (2009); <em>Piano Sonata No. 1 \u201ePost-Neo\u201d<\/em> for the left hand (2013); <em>Cellophony<\/em> for cello (2014); <em>Symphony of Space<\/em> for orchestra (2016); <em>Trio<\/em> for clarinet, cello, and piano (2018); <em>Niepodleg\u0142a<\/em> \u2013 oratorio (2018).<\/p><p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.polmic.pl\">www.polmic.pl<\/a><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Artur Cie\u015blak photo: Tadeusz Cie\u015blak Born in 1968 in Szczecin.
