Anna Maria Huszcza
born in 1978, MA in composing,rhythmics and PhD in composition and music theory of Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw.
Her compositions combine different musical styles from solo, chamber and symphonic music via electronic and multimedia pieces and film music, theatre music and musicals to music for children.
She is also an arranger. She is especially keen to work on interdisciplinary projects, combining music with dance, images and words. She is an author of multiple choreographies.
Her works have been presented both in Poland and abroad: in Slovenia, Czech Republic, Germany, France, Sweden, Belgium, Lithuania, Ukraine and Japan. The compositions have been performed at many prestigious festivals, including International Festival of Contemporary Music Warsaw Autumn, Poznań Musical Spring and international saxophone congress SaxOpenin Strasbourg.
Anna Maria Huszcza is a laureate of many competitions for composers. Her compositions have already been published eight times, e.g. in the Warsaw Autumnchronicle (2009), Paweł Gusnar. Saxophone Varie CD(Fryderyk award, 2014), Folk&Roll CDby Zagan Acoustic, wydziwiAnka (2016/2017) and Łoj! (2017).
